Every lane. Every load.

It's the promise under our name — and how the freight actually moves. The trucks behind this page are ours: real MKX units, our name on the door. Truckload, LTL and specialized freight across Canada and the USA — wherever your freight needs to go, with live tracking on every load and a dispatcher who actually picks up the phone.

More About MKX

What we haul

Six exits. Every kind of load.

From a single pallet to a full 53-foot trailer — including bonded and regulated freight. Keep scrolling: the exits roll past.

The MKX Standard

Efficiency is not a slogan painted on our door. It is a trailer sealed and rolling on time. A dispatcher who answers on the second ring. A rate with nothing buried inside it. A border crossed without drama. And a signed POD back in your inbox before you think to ask. Every load. Every mile. Done properly.

Find your freight fit

Three questions. One right exit.

Tell us the size, the special needs and the lane — we'll point you at the MKX service built for exactly that load. No sales call required.

Q1 How big is the load?

Q2 Any special needs?

Q3 Where is it going?

Answer all three questions and your service appears here — with a quote form already set to it.

Our reach

Based in Calgary.
Bound for anywhere.

Most carriers will show you a map of where they happen to run. MKX works the other way around: a head office in Calgary, a terminal in Toronto, and freight moving all across Canada and the USA. You name the pickup and the destination — we plan the route, not the other way around.

Our story

Two terminals. One standard: deliver as promised.

M&K Xlines Ltd (MKX) is a privately held Canadian corporation headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, with a second terminal in Toronto, Ontario. The company was built around a simple idea: shippers shouldn't have to chase their carrier for answers.

From that Calgary base, MKX grew wherever its customers needed freight moved — across Canada and south into the United States. Today our fleet of 15 power units runs less-than-truckload, full truckload, dry van, bonded and hazmat freight, backed by warehousing and cross-docking support at the dock level.

Because we're privately held and mid-sized by design, every customer deals with people who know their freight, their lanes and their deadlines. No call-centre runaround — just dispatchers, drivers and operations staff who treat your delivery date like their own.

How we work

Mission & values

Our mission is straightforward: move freight safely, communicate honestly, and earn the next load by how we handled the last one.

Safety before schedule

Inspected equipment, qualified drivers and full regulatory compliance on every trip — including TDG rules for hazardous goods. A load that isn't safe doesn't roll.

Say it early

Weather, traffic and border delays happen. Our job is to tell you as soon as we know, with a revised plan — not an excuse after the fact.

Partnership over transactions

We learn each customer's freight, facilities and peak seasons, then plan capacity around them. Repeat business is our growth strategy.

Respect for drivers

Drivers are the company, out on the road. Legal hours, maintained trucks and routes planned with their time in mind.

Run lean, run clean

SmartWay-certified practices, efficient routing and modern equipment keep fuel burn — and your freight's footprint — down.

Own the outcome

From quote to POD, one team is accountable for your shipment. If something goes sideways, we fix it and tell you what changed.

Operations

Fleet & terminals

The fleet

15 highway tractors with 53-foot dry van trailers, maintained on a strict preventive schedule and inspected before every dispatch. The fleet supports:

  • Full truckload and LTL dry freight
  • Bonded / in-bond cross-border movements
  • Hazmat (TDG) certified equipment and drivers
  • GPS tracking and electronic logging on every unit

The terminals

Calgary, Alberta — Head Office. Dispatch, administration and our main yard at 3730 108 Ave NE Unit 1217, and the base from which we serve shippers across Canada and the USA.

Toronto, Ontario — Terminal. Eastern operations hub for Ontario pickups and deliveries and U.S.-bound freight.

Between the two, freight can be cross-docked, re-staged or held in secure warehousing instead of sitting on a trailer.

The network

Across Canada & the USA

No fixed route map, and no "we don't go there." If freight needs to move within Canada or across the border into the United States, we plan the run around your pickup and your destination — not around a lane chart.

Tell us the two ends — we handle the middle

Every quote starts with your pickup and delivery points. From there, dispatch builds the route, positions the equipment and sets the schedule — one pallet or a full trailer, regular run or one-off.
